Group Related Tasks into Sections
Sections let you group related tasks together so you can organize them in your project, creating categories, workflow stages, phases, priorities and more.
Task filters allow you to streamline your tasks list, making easier to manage your work, gain full visibility & make better decisions about task progress.
Sort your tasks by selecting any of Task name, Start date, End date and Assigned to. Find relevant tasks quickly and prioritize work to be done.
Use the task description field to enter additional information about the task, so your team members can easily understand what needs to be done.
Break your tasks down into the smallest and most manageable steps to make it easier to get the job done.
Add helpful comments to report on the progress towards completion of the task. Task comments help to keep your team informed on how the task’s activities are proceeding.
Use the full screen to view your task’s full details and to focus your attention on completing the task at hand, without distraction.
Start & Due Date
Simply select a member from your Project Team or begin typing the name of a co-worker into the ‘All Users’ search box. Project Central will search your organization’s directory and find the person you wish to assign the task to.
There are three project statuses – ‘Not Started’, ‘In Progress’ and ‘Completed’. Updating the status gives visibility over the tasks and when they’re being worked-on.
Flagging a Task
Flagging a task highlights those that may need extra attention and lets the project manager know that there could be a risk to it being completed on time.
